Alive Ltd. Mission Statement

To conduct workshops, seminars, and other types of educational programs that provide individuals and groups particularly in underserved minority and elderly communities, with the tools to adopt and sustain physically, mentally, and spiritually, healthy ways of life. Alive Ltd., has been around for 5 years.


Women Alive! A Legacy of Social Justice is an exhibit honoring 24 Chicago women who have dedicated their lives to equality, access, community change, child care, peace and other social welfare issues. Opening Sunday, June 22 the exhibit continues thru Sunday, August 24, 2003.

24 personal installations of artifacts, photographs, paints and personal essays will be on display at Archeworks, 625 N. Kingsbury at corner of Ontario Street in Chicago.. The exhibit is open Saturdays. Sundays and Mondays from 12-6 p.m. and on Tuesdays from 2 -8 p.m. Admission is free but free will offerings will be gratefully accepted.

Special events are scheduled each Sunday at 3:30 pm and Tuesdays at 6 pm. There are also Saturday special programs on Saturdays, July 19 and July 26.
